SUMMARY:
The Internal Communications Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing effective internal communications strategies to enhance employee engagement, productivity and overall organizational culture. This role requires strong communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for connecting with people.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of Pinelake Church.
- Basic personal responsibilities:
- Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, meditation and practicing L3.
- Maintain proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children).
- Faithfully support the ministries of Pinelake by maintaining wise stewardship measures over the resources entrusted to you.
- Maintain active participation in community.
- Reflect a growing awareness and practice of personal Emotional Healthy Spirituality.
- Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Pinelake Church (Colossians 3:23-24).

SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Staff Updates and Communications: Develop and distribute timely communications to staff including announcements, newsletters, text messages and emails.
- Manage internal communications channels such as Pinelake’s intranet.
- Represent the voice of Pinelake through various forms of media to both staff and the body at large.
- Support strategic growth and outreach initiatives by developing and implementing effective communication plans across the state.
- Oversee the development, content, and production of Pinelake’s internal podcast.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- May supervise exempt and non-exempt personnel.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
The minimum requirement for the Strategic Planning Manager is a bachelor’s degree. Competitive candidates will have knowledge of staff development challenges.
