SUMMARY

Provides administrative support to the Campus Pastor to fulfill the overall goals and objectives of the Clinton Campus and Pinelake Church. Primary responsibilities include coordinating, organizing, and planning administrative functions for the Campus Pastor, as well as supporting collaboration across campus ministries.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of the Clinton Campus and Pinelake Church.
  • Assists the Campus Pastor to work toward excellence in all areas of the ministry.
  • Basic personal responsibilities:
    • Maintains a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, meditation, and practicing L3.
    • Maintains proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children).
    • Faithfully supports the ministries of Pinelake by maintaining wise stewardship measures over the resources entrusted to you.
    • Maintain active participation in
    • Reflects a growing awareness and practice of personal emotional and spiritual health.
    • Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Pinelake Church (Colossians 3:23-24).

SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops a high level of proficiency with Rock, the online church management system to assist in the overall management of facility approvals, including room reservations, updates to current reservations, and resolving reservation conflicts that are in the system to ensure accurate scheduling of all campus activities. This will be done in collaboration with the Campus Pastor's office as a checks and balance.
  • Utilizes the current room management processes to ensure proper room set-up and use, confirming and cross-checking events in coordination with the campus calendar held by the Campus Pastor's office as a checks and balance, while maintaining communication with the facilities team on all campus room usage.
  • In collaboration with the Campus Pastor’s office and ministry team leaders, assists the Campus Pastor in facilitating the onboarding of new staff by implementing a unique plan for each employee. Navigates execution of the onboarding plan, including coordinating schedules for meetings with pertinent staff.
  • Coordinates the Pinelake assimilation process with meaningful follow-up, utilizing Rock to ensure all congregants take next steps in a timely manner through coordination with ministry team leaders.
  • Assists with budget management at the Clinton Campus by scheduling budget meetings, reviewing budget reports, developing reports for ministries, and checking for timeliness in budget deadlines.
  • Serves as the Clinton campus administrative arm of our security and medical response teams, helping with meetings, onboarding, and equipping servant leaders.
  • Oversees servant leader compliance with the Clinton Campus safety policy (Our House Promise) by running periodic reports on OHP annual updates and background checks, helping ministry staff remain up to date on the status of servant leader teams.
  • Provides administrative support for campus gatherings including strategic and ministry planning, quarterly campus meetings, database trainings, and administrative equipping opportunities.
  • Facilitates database management for new staff hires and existing staff to ensure compliance with our policies and systems.
  • Maintains office equipment in the Clinton workroom and coordinate ordering of appropriate supplies.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

High school diploma or equivalent minimum; college experience preferred. Two to five years of administrative experience.

By God's grace and power, our faith family has grown into a dynamic church spanning five cities throughout our state -- Clinton, Madison, Oxford, the Reservoir, and Starkville. Weekly, we serve over 12,000 people, but we celebrate stories of life change one person at a time.

CLINTON CAMPUS:

We planted our Clinton campus in 2009 and have become a vibrant expression of Christian community to the people of Clinton and the surrounding area. We connect to 800 children, youth, adults, and college students each week. The home of Mississippi College (Mississippi’s most prominent Christian University), Clinton is the tenth largest city in Mississippi! Clinton boasts many metropolitan conveniences with a unique historic charm. Even more, Clinton Public School District was also recently ranked as the number one district in the entire state!
